Wood decks that are not properly sealed or coated deteriorate over time due to water damage and exposure to various weathering elements. Our experts will accurately assess your wood deck's damage and create a plan to properly repair it, while salvaging the parts that are still in good condition. Our process typically involves removing the existing plywood sheeting and repairing any rotted or deteriorated floor joists. Then we install new plywood sheeting with adequate slope, new flashing, and new drains to provide proper water drainage to prevent water from pooling on your deck's surface. We complete the deck repair by applying a WestCoat waterproofing system to help protect the wood from future damage and deterioration. Our long-lasting waterproofing applications are good for up to 10 years, but we recommend re-applying Topcoat sealer every 5 years for the absolute best protection.
